Selling on eBay – When do I get payment?

I sold an item on eBay today and got this.

"As you’re a new eBay seller, we’ll temporarily hold the payment from each of your eBay transactions for up to 21 days. You’ll then be able to access your money, providing you’ve posted the item to the address stated on the transaction details page and your buyer hasn’t reported any problems."

Does this mean I have to WAIT 21 DAYS before I can access the money that is rightfully mine, or does the buyer confirm the item is received, when it arrives, on eBay and it then the money enters my account automatically?

It should say on your paypal account. Log in and next to the transaction it will say release date for the funds/

Yes, this is too prevent fraud. It’s not that long to wait, anyway. As long as the buyer does not report any false advertisement then you should be fine. After 21 days, it automatically enters your account. (:
