The Best Storage Unit I Ever Purchased Storage Auction Sales

November 15th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

Vist my ebay store http://stores.ebay.com/delawarevicki
I paid $90.00 for this storage unit and got about 1,500 non fiction books out of it! The book cases also were in the unit so that was a big help. Its not the sexiest unit but so far the most profitable.

If you have a few …
If you have a few thousand books and they are not selling at your sale chances are they are former best sellers or fiction. Grab some books and go to Amazon and check out the current prices and there you will find you answer.

    Many nonfiction …
Many nonfiction books have a high demand on Amazon. I have books now that are listed higher than their original retail price, and they sell. Also got a book collection as part of a unit, although only about 400 sellable books. First week or two we were selling $100+ book per day. Yes, one single book for $100 or more among with others. All nonfiction, all on the same genre.

    Hey Glendon, do you …
Hey Glendon, do you have any experience selling books on Amazon, I’ve been trying to sell my thousands of books for well under $1 each at my garage sales and I’ve had nearly no luck at that. Do you know if it would be worth it to sell them on amazon? My tag sales take in $1,000+ per day (mostly from the small stuff) so I believe it’s just not selling because there’s no interest in books.

    Nice buy NP! You …
Nice buy NP! You understand that some of the best units keep giving and giving for months after the fact! What I like about this video is the stuff is not glamorous, nor high dollar but the end results are awesome $6K plus off a $90 dollar buy! Base hits will pay the bills not home runs! You are 100% on point about non fiction yielding more money than fiction!!

    heartfelt, yes. …
heartfelt, yes. Sarcastic, no. It was not sarcasm but allusion. I alluded to the fact that the hangings were done by non-fictional people. The history of witchcraft is not fiction, and that is likely what the book is about. If a book is written about ghosts and it has people’s ghost stories but does not conclude they are real… would be non-fiction. The author did not make up the ghost stories, he interviewed real people. Do you understand? You were wrong ans so i clarified. U mad

    Witches and wiccans …
Witches and wiccans are silly and delusional. I know history far better than the average joe green tea, care to quiz me? What did I say that prompted such a heartfelt and sarcastic reply?

    if its a non- …
if its a non-fictional book (like lets say history of witchcraft…) then its non-fiction. Just because witches arent real doesnt mean the hangings weren’t? Also, think with your head before you speak with your mouth.

    fiction is fiction, …
fiction is fiction, delusion as non-fiction is hopeful at best. Not trying for religious overtones here… all religious texts are classified as…. well now that you mention it…. Their own category. Fair enough. If it is not in the fiction category, in broad strokes, it is non-fiction.. lol

Great question, to you and I it may be fiction but to the author and reader it may be non fiction right?
