I finally got to garage sale this weekend…got the base of a treadle sewing machine with the original wooden top for 6.00. It’s now an end table. You inspire me to get out and check out the sales…thanks!

Thanks for offering to help! I found an item that had recently sold on ebay for 99.99..it is an old magazine and mine is in comparable condition. I can’t decide how much to list it as…how do you decide what your price should be? I know I wont get that much for mine but if it is valuable I dont want to lose out on any profit..What would be your suggestion as to a listing price for my magazine?

Yeah, I agree. A lot of the pricing is sentimental. But as long as it works in my favor, it’s all good! Not many people look things up on ebay, but whenever I walk up to a sale where I see the ebay print outs taped to an item, it’s usually a BAD sign! TFW, Heather

Wow!Some great finds. As far as how people price stuff at sales, I think most people are just trying to get out from under it and most of the pricing is random and, at times, sentimental. Bad for them, good for you. Sometimes they ‘ll get it right,but most times not. I doubt they’re spending very much time, if any, on Ebay to see what stuff sells for 😉
