What does it base it’s statistics on? I know if I took my games down to my local game store, they wouldn’t follow the same price guide.

VideoGamePriceCharts.com gets its data from ebay, amazon, Half.com, and JJGames.com sales. The prices shown are based upon how much the game sells for on those prices.

If you were to buy or sell a game you should get a price very similar to the price listed on VGPC.

Buying or selling games at local game stores can have much different prices. They usually sell the games for more than the price listed on VideoGamePriceCharts.com and give you less in trade.
