Re Question about what do you think of my jewellery i sell on Ebay for SARAH. T – My selling name sarah is shellynrichy go to community on ebay then type in shellynrichy and please let me know what you think of my prices, range of goods i sell and postage cost i am wanting to go full time and open an ebay shop but am a little worried because of slow sales my belief is if i am not greedy then i would sell a little more but that is not the case
Hi,
I think your prices are more than reasonable – I really liked the black butterfly, the choker with the flower and the locket – really unusual. It says you have nothing to sell at the minute?
I would buy it,
good luck

Are you from the UK? I found the seller shellynrichy and it says that you do not have any items for sale at this time.

Hi Sarah
I also am a jewellery designer-maker and sell some things on Ebay.
I think people buying on ebay want a bargain, the uk site is currently flooded with foreign imports- lovely styles but us handmakers cant compete with the prices. May i recommend you get yourself a dedicated site built (try MR Site) as it is taken more seriously and you wont have the constraints of how your webstore will look or the ebay fees either!
your pieces can be beautiful and it wont matter if you are marketing to the wrong customers- get a book on starting a business -there are loads out there- and read up on marketing strategies.
it is worth thinking about who you want/think would buy your product, and then think where they might shop…now that is where you need to have your stuff visible . it is also worth putting your stuff in several places, and never underestimate the value of face to face contact when selling jewellery- people want to try things on so search out fairs etc and get a table there
good luck- it is a jungle out there
