@packrat79 Im actually concerned about that too cuz I bought a storage unit that was full and i mean full of hunting gear I found hunter clothing,chairs,practice targets,a ton of ammunition and gun holsters but no guns I still have a feeling that the people in charge kept the guns…

I watch the show, its now very predicable and has gotten away from what made it great in season one. But as for ratings I work in radio and have access to ratings! I did got and pulled up the Cable TV top 25 weekly ratings and SW is not in the top 25. Now when the new season and re-runs aren’t being played then yes they should bounce back. I’m sure the show is selling due to the demographic the show is trying to reach.

@packrat79 Don’t storage units remove the previous owner’s lock and put on a company lock when they go delinquent on their payments? That way they can’t retrieve any of their items. Therefore, every unit up for auction has a lock that was put on by an employee/owner making the chances of this occurring very possible. I could be mistaken.

That’s the biggest concern I would have about attending a storage auction…. how do you know the company hasn’t removed all the valuables and then put a new padlock on the door?
This might be a good project for an investigate reporter…. fill up a locker, photograph the contents, abandon it, then show up on auction day and see if anything’s been disturbed.
I suppose a smart bidder could inspect the padlock before they cut it off, if it looks like it’s brand new I’d be suspicious.
