What can someone sell on Ebay that will sell easily with nice profit?

February 15th, 2013 2 comments

What are some things that I can sell on Ebay to make a nice profit? I am a stay at home mom, and I have 4 little boys , my husband works but I would like to make some extra cash to help. Any ideas? What can I sell?

Books can be sold for a decent price. You’d probably get $10-$20 depending on the book/author. If it’s a somewhat rare book it could be sold $50-$70 or even more, depending on the price. If you have toys that your kids don’t want anymore could be sold for $5-$10 bucks depending on how many toys you sell. Jewelry/watches can be sold for some decent money. Like earrings that aren’t worth a lot and you don’t want anymore could be sold for about $20.
Hoped I helped!

We’ve already stopped all eating out, only drive when we absolutely have to, buy our groceries based on sales, my kids are in a free summer camp that provides lunch and field trips (everything there is free)… anything else you could think of?
Thanks everyone – great ideas.

In addition to what everyone has already said here you can also sell your kids outgrown clothing, toys, etc on ebay to bring in some extra cash. =]

What website is better for selling eBay or Amazon?

What website is better for selling eBay or Amazon?
I am looking to sell stuff on one of thees. Which one am I likely to make more money from?

Amazon and eBay are very different. eBay is better for collectibles, items limited in number (such as concert tickets), and used items. Amazon is better for media products (books, DVDs, etc), items new in the package, and toys.

The fee structure is completely different, too. Amazon does not charge up front to list your items. There is no Paypal on Amazon, so there is no such thing as an unpaid item. Amazon customers will pay more for the same items than eBay customers. To list an item on Amazon, all you need is the UPC code and the photo and description pop up – it is like a catalog.

eBay has a lot of hassles including many more restrictions, listing fees, and the Paypal system. You have to take your own pictures and write your own descriptions on eBay, which is very time consuming.

You should visit the seller discussion boards on both sites and understand how they are different before trying either one. Many sellers sell items on both sites.

Information Regarding Selling On Ebay Tips

November 16th, 2011 No comments

Ebay is a worldwide used online auction site. Sometimes to start to sell on a site like this is quite daunting, so I have put together some EBay selling tips to help you get started and hopefully to help you make some money.

If you are still thinking of ideas of what you could sell to make money, just stop, look around your home and see what you think you don’t need or want anymore. Clothes, books, media, shoes, plates, china, ornaments, paper, pens, picture frames, toys. Look around to see what you think you could sell. If you are not sure if it would sell, search for it and see if anyone else is selling it, if they are then you can too!
