How can I get fast/slow motion editing on my Mac with iMovie ’08?

I’ve heard you used to be able to download iMovie ’06, but I’ve checked and it doesn’t download. Am I doing something wrong? Is there any way I can get it or some other editing program for a real good price if not free?
As moo cow says, Apple have stopped all downloads for iMovie HD 06 since they released iMovie 09.
The only way to get it now is to find someone with the old iLife 06 install disc.
I have seen them for sale on eBay but the prices are going up heaps.
If I were you and wanted special effects, I would try and get $79 together and buy the iLfe 09 upgrade although I have seen them cheaper on eBay.
