Hello, here I discuss & demonstrate the proper, tired & true bicycle packing techniques for 3-Speed bicycles such as the pictured Raleigh Sports. (Pardon the mess.) I’ve shipped hundreds of bikes as an eBay seller & since I started using these {which are the same as the ones that your bike comes packed from the factory to your bikeshop or department store; I have never had a bent dropout {You still have to remove the rear derailleur from the drop hanger to prevent damage to that component) or encounter a misaligned fork for instance. There are other ways to help protect the frame finish from chips which I will cover in future videos.

If you wish to secure some, I have ones for front forks (some a bit loose in some suspension forks or a bit snug, ~ nothing that a bit of tape or a light tap with a plastic mallet can’t fix lol) I can get you 50 of these (min. 25/25 front rear) for $99.95 with a minimum $50 order, including free shipping (w/in lower 48), quantity discounts available.
