How do i find items to sell on eBay and make a decent profit?

January 17th, 2013 3 comments

EBay is a good source of extra income. But I’m not sure where to find GOOD items to sell on eBay (buy low sell high). If any one who is selling on eBay would like to share extra info please email me. The consideration is appreciated.

wholesalers. international companies like china. i would first check what prices are going for so i can match what prices people are buying at, so i wouldnt overpay for something and trying to sell it out to lose money.

Buying from Ebay, does free shipping include handling fee and everything?

December 14th, 2012 3 comments

Hi,

I’m new to ebay. There’s a pair of shoes I wanted to buy from a seller that is located in China and I’m in Canada. It says free shipping on the item’s page, does that mean that the price of the item is the only thing I have to pay, no more no less?
Is the handling fee also include in the "free shipping" statement?

Thanks!

According to eBay’s rules, when an eBay seller advertises ‘Free Shipping’ to a particular location they are *not* allowed to charge you any additional fees for things like shipping and handling. Of course, you should still carefully read an auction listing to make sure you completely understand the terms of the sale.

Here’s what eBay tell’s their sellers about offering Free Shipping:

Free shipping
You can offer free shipping to select or all destinations.

For a destination with free shipping, no other fees related to shipping, handling, or packaging can be charged.

You’re not allowed to change the shipping method to a slower option.

How do you know if Louis Vuitton purses off Ebay are real or fake?

December 4th, 2012 2 comments

I am considering ordering a Louis Vuitton bag off Ebay.
I have no experience with Ebay so could you please help me out?
What are some ways to know if it’s real or fake based simply off of the one picture that you can look at and the not very detailed description?

I’m a professional ebay shopper haha so I’ll give you some really good tips that have always worked for me…..If you’re ordering a Louis Vuitton item you’ll want to look at the sellers feedback. If they have 0 feedback I would walk away no matter how great the deal looks. A ton of scammers will post a LV item on ebay with a 0 feedback score meaning that is their 1st and probably last item they will post on ebay. Another hint of a fake or scam is there are no pics except for 1 pic that looks like a stock photo.

Sometimes too a seller with a high feedback score may of gotten a LV bag as a gift and it was fake but they have no idea because they arent a stylish person and really have no common sense that the bag;s fake. I suggest going into a Louis Vuitton store and getting an up close look at the actual authentic bag, this way you’ll have a good sense of what an authentic one looks like and spend time studying the ebay pics for the auction you’re interested in.

Finally, don’t be fooled by a country. Just because the bag is from Japan or China doesn’t mean it’s fake. There are a bunch of ebay stores on ebay that are overseas and have wonderful authentic bags for great prices. If you see a bag you like take a look at the other items they for sale and the prior feedback. After a while you’ll be able to spot a real LV bag very easily.

Where can I buy electronics directly from china or hongkong?

November 24th, 2012 1 comment

Is there any way to buy products directly from China? I once bought something on ebay and to my surprise it came directly from Hongkong. Lately I have been unsuccessful finding products for sale, is there some new law or something?

There’s any number of web sites that still do that but why try.
Most of them ship either the slowest way possible or you get nailed with the most exorbitant air freight bill you can imagine.
Then there’s the warranty!

what can I sell on ebay that would actually make money?

I am in college, and my job has become very slow. So I am looking for ways to supplement my lost income. I know a lot of people use E-bay. My cousin goes to junkyards and buys parts and lists them, but I am not mechanically inclined so that is out of the question. What are ways a rookie like me could earn a few hundred bucks a week through E-bay?

Basically anything.
My friend buys clothes and womens products from this website ( It sales everything ) The suppliers are from china & elsewhere i believe.
She buys cheap & sales high. & She makes a good income. I wish i could tell you the website. But do some research. Good luck.

Information Regarding Selling On Ebay Tips

November 16th, 2011 No comments

Ebay is a worldwide used online auction site. Sometimes to start to sell on a site like this is quite daunting, so I have put together some EBay selling tips to help you get started and hopefully to help you make some money.

If you are still thinking of ideas of what you could sell to make money, just stop, look around your home and see what you think you don’t need or want anymore. Clothes, books, media, shoes, plates, china, ornaments, paper, pens, picture frames, toys. Look around to see what you think you could sell. If you are not sure if it would sell, search for it and see if anyone else is selling it, if they are then you can too!
