What can i make at home and sell at ebay for a good deal?

March 5th, 2013 3 comments

Something like soap, pins, candles or hair accessories i dont know

My advice would be Pinterest and Etsy. For one, if you scan the "Popular" page on Pinterest once a week, you will find awesome items that can be pretty simple to make (I have tried some). Their "DIY & Crafts" page is also helpful. Also, look on Etsy. Find cool handmade shops and get inspiration from them. I shop at Michaels’ and JoAnn’s all the time, and the constantly have online coupons and sales going on. You can buy your supplies there. Also, YouTube different techniques and crafts if you aren’t sure how to make things, there is plenty of help out there. Hope I helped!

In the next few moments, you are going to discover an amazingly simple, yet virtually unknown business that

My Story

I used to own a retail store, working 60+ hours a week barely make a living. By using the techniques I’ve learned, I have personally sold over £20 Million on eBay in less than 4 years. I just published a book that became an instant best seller – reaching top 10 statuses on both Amazon.com and Barnesnoble.com. I travel the word teaching people to use eBay speaking to 1000’s of people every month. Just think what it would mean to you and your family if you grabbed that same kind of success.

And yes I know those sales numbers sound beyond the realm of believability. In my book “How to Buy, Sell & Profit on eBay” I say that “the greatest eBay stories have yet to be written.” To be honest, it doesn’t matter how much I’ve sold – it matters how successful my students have become using my system.

In the past years since I’ve been teaching people the success principles to succeed on eBay, some decide to sell on eBay part time and make themselves “Lifestyle Money” – an extra £300-£500 a month…and heck. Others have reached high levels of PowerSeller – selling over £25,000 a month on eBay alone (not counting their other online businesses.

how do i start selling on ebay after i’ve been buying for a while?

February 7th, 2013 2 comments

i have an account already on ebay and have been buying stuff for 3 months on there i think. i want to start selling on there and i would sign up for paypal using my debit card. after i sign up for paypal what do i do to start selling on ebay?

btw, how much does ebay take away from you when you sell something? or when do they take away money and how much?

Read the "how to start selling" tutorial on Ebay would be my advice. There is a lot you need to learn and easy mistakes to avoid making. The sellers fees are listed clearly there, it depends on your starting price, whether you use Buy It Now or auction format etc. You may have to pay an insertion fee? Definitely a Final Value Fee (depends on the final selling price) and a fee to Paypal for accepting a payment. Bear these things in mind when selling :-

See how much similar items are selling for by "watching" one in My Ebay and check after the auction ends. It might not be worth your while bothering for low value items once the fees are paid.

Take a really good clear photograph to upload, don’t copy off the internet.

Weigh the item in its packaging before you work out the P&P, packaging can weigh heavy.

Heavy items do not sell well, people won’t pay a fortune for P&P so think before you sell esp. books which can be quite heavy.

Describe any defects/faults in full it saves having to issue a refund later on to an unhappy buyer.

Always get proof of posting stamped at the post office (this is free, not the same as registered post) because buyers can sometimes turn round and say an item never arrived. If you can scan/email proof of posting to them and have a clear refund policy stated on the auction this takes the wind out of their sales.

Always send expensive items by registered post only, choose that option from the list and sort out how much this is before you list the item.

Good communication is the key on Ebay, communicate with your buyers, answer questions promptly and keep them informed when you post the item.

I wouldn’t try ebay because I have looked myself and they are REALLY expensive! Plus they ship overseas for most of the selection. International shipping is NOT fun to pay!

If you can’t find the right one, I suggest buying a long white wig and then dying it. There is a sharpie method that some cosplayer’s use and other dying techniques. The information is located below on the forums page:

Action Company Saddlesmith of Texas Ammerman Roping worth?

February 3rd, 2013 2 comments

I have it for sale, it was a rather expensive saddle, but I’ve had no bites at all. What do you think this saddle is worth?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/220842279403?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

An old Ammerman is worth what you are asking as they are much better quality.

However, yours was manufactured after they were bought out by Saddlesmith and their quality declined substantially.

It’s the same thing that happened to Bighorns after they were bought out by American Saddlery. The saddles started slowly turning into junk but people still paid premium prices for them because of the name. Once people realized they weren’t the same quality as the older ones their value began a steady decline just the same as Ammermans are doing now.

Your saddle is worth about half what you have it listed for since it isn’t an older, tried and true Ammerman but a sub-par quality Saddlesmith instead. You may get super-lucky and find someone ignorant as to the changes in that brand of saddle to pay that price but don’t count on it.

Caught shoplifting, clerk declined EBT transaction. Is that legal?

January 28th, 2013 11 comments

before my friends were officially caught shoplifting, they tried to do an EBT transaction the same day, and the register kept declining it and they did not know why. then a few minutes later after leaving out the doors, they got stopped by security. After they got home, they called and checked their EBT balance and they had money on there. IS THAT LEGAL??
please, no rude answers; because they are aware that shoplifting is wrong.
ten pts?
no no, i dont think you guys are getting it..
my friends stole a bunch of stuff, and packed it in a couple totes so they looked empty. They went to pay for the totes plus some food, (at a self checkout @ walmart) and the food stamp card(EBT) kept declining. then the clerk came over & helped void their food, and they payed for some of the other items they had actually bought, and continued out of the store, they then were stopped by security and so on..they finally got home and called their EBT number thing, and it said they had a balance of *.** $$. illegal??
no, they shoplifted other stuff (that was in the totes.) *on purpose*. but, they also had food in the cart as a cover up so they went to the self checkout, and scanned the food they had in the cart but a lady came up right after that and stood next to the cashier(obviously knowing that they had been shoplifting) and THAT is when it started declining. Then the origional cashier guy came over and typed in his number to void the food that they couldn’t get because it was declining , and they got their reciepts for the totes(they actually bought the totes just not the stuff in the totes) and they went out of the store. then thats where the security came in and stuff.

It’s not the store’s fault that the transaction was declined. It may be that the bank was having problems with their technology. Your friends should have offered to pay by check or cash or credit, if they had it. Stealing is NEVER an option.

Think of it this way… if you had something on eBay for sale and someone came to your home to pick it up, giving you a check. But you go to cash the check and it bounces. You call the guy and he says he doesn’t know why it bounced, but refuses to give back your item and doesn’t offer to pay you in another way…. is that legal? Would you be okay with that?

The store isn’t okay with it either.

what do you think about studebaker trucks?

January 26th, 2013 3 comments

i think it would b really kool to drive one even though they r really old and it might b hard to find parts for it

Hudson pick-ups are beautifully styled – but much rarer than Studes.

Stude made very rugged trucks. Better to find one with the 225/245 6 or a V8 rather than the 169/185 Champion 6 which was a lighter-duty engine. But for truck use, they built their engines with HD valves, timing gears, bearings.

Although Stude cars have been out of production since 1966, and trucks since 1964, mechanical parts aren’t that all hard to find. One reason is as their sales declined, they couldn’t afford to change their models much from year-to–year, so most parts interchange between many years.

And have you checked eBay for Studies & parts – no shortage there !!!

What type of counter top would be more practical?

January 22nd, 2013 6 comments

I am purchasing my first home, it is a starter home (3bdrm,2bath). I would like to redo the kitchen in a style that is me. However, when we sale a few years down the line-it will be a starter home for the next person. I don’t what type of counter top to choose that will not push the house out of a first-time homebuyer price range. I want it to look nice and still be afforable.

(I’ll get my granite counter top when I build from the ground up)

In my starter home, I am tiling the countertops. Tile is only about $1.27 -$2/sqft at Lowes. Quick and easy. The only questionable thing are the edges. Bullnose tile are $2.00 for a 6 inch section. That adds up quickly. I may use a schulter aluminum transition (L shaped one) instead.

My tile: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=3750-74035-SY031212HC1P&lpage=none
Schluter®-SCHIENE http://www.schluter.com/137.aspx

look on Ebay for 20% off Home Depot or Lowes coupons. They help a great deal. Lowes will take the HD coupons.
