My favorite place to find items to sell on eBay is at flea markets, yard sales and local estate auctions.

If you have a specific type of item you would like to sell (glassware, jewelry, vintage clothing) you can search these different places and find plenty of stuff to purchase and resell.

Or, if you don’t have a specific niche of items that you want to sell, you can purchase a variety of items. Personally, I think it’s best to find a niche you are knowledgable and passionate about and focus on that niche.

I’ve been selling on eBay full-time for a few years now, and this is how I got about finding my inventory. It works for me, and I’m sure it would work for you.

It depends what sort of thing you are looking for. If you just want single items you can make a profit on, try local second-hand sales, general auctions and maybe items listed wrongly on eBay itself. But if you want to become a steady business selling a type of item continuously, you’ll want to find a DropShipper. You could try this dirrect of DropShippers, or maybe just type ‘Drop Shipper in…" and add your country to Google and see what comes up.
