How do you make an income on ebay? without selling too much of your things?

November 8th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

Well, I just do the usual stuff on Ebay, selling cards (ex Yugioh, Magic the Gather, and World of Warcraft tcg), the problem is i could sell some and gain some profit but eventually I will loose all of them, and I dont want that to happen. So is there a way to gain income on ebay without losing any of your items?
And lesson on ebay cost something, so can someone give me an advice in earning money without linking me to an Ebay lessons that will cost me something?
Thanks for the answers 🙂

Hi – I am a Powerseller and sell 300+ items a month. Have been selling on eBay since 2003 and have sold 12,000 items worldwide.

You can find lots of items at yard sales, estate sales, moving sales, surplus stores, salvage liquidators, thrift stores, etc to resell on eBay. That is where all of my items come from.

I am interested in your comment about "lessons on eBay cost something." Well, you are right. If you wanted to take a piano lesson, you’d be hard pressed to find a free teacher. Same with horseback riding, computer training, auto repair, or photography. Lessons cost money no matter what you are learning. People’s time is money.

I have a free blog you can read about eBay selling-

The way to make money on Ebay is to be selling all the time. The only way to do that is to buy and sell. Some folks patronize flea markets and pick up items for sale. In your case, if you know a lot about card collectibles, maybe you could make a small business buying and selling.

Truth is, however, that Ebay, unless you make a real business out of it, is like a garage sale. Everybody has a few items they’d like to sell and make some money. And, a very tiny numbe of people are able to constantly restock their garage sale and make a small living at it. What they need is the same–a source of merchandise, good business sense, a willingness to really work at it, and persistence.
