Recent Ebay Sales from Garage/Estate Sale/Thrift Store/Auction Finds!

Recent Ebay sales from garage/estate sales, thrift stores and auction finds. My best sale of the week came from a lot of 6 70’s/80’s Barbies that I bought at auction for $3 — the lot sold for $52! One hat this week and another hat from last week are unfortunately being returned as they didn’t fit. So there goes $20 back out.

These are the same dolls I had as a child, too! I still have mine – these were purchased at an auction here in Iowa. I would never sell mine…plus I gave them all “haircuts”, lol!

    These were from a …
These were from a live auction. The town next to us has an auction house that does a general auction on Tuesday’s with whatever stuff people bring buy. Most of it is junk, and the dealers usually get the good stuff…but sometimes I’m able to snag a deal for a good price!

    when you say, you …
when you say, you bought at auction, do you mean on Ebay or you went to a live auction where you were able to get something with a bid of $3. OF all the live auctions i have been to nothing even starts that low and its usual high end antiques

    Nope, they were …
Nope, they were just as they are shown in the video. I got the lot of them at auction for only $3 – had no idea they would sell for $52! I have 21 people watching the auction. These are actually the same dolls I had as a child in the late 70’s/early 80’s. I still have mine, but I scalped most of them, lol!

I am not happy with …
I am not happy with the new 14-day return policy in order to get the Top Seller fee reduction. I think people abuse it, especially on clothes. Both of the returns are on $9.99 hats. The shipping is costing the buyer MORE than the hat is worth – if it were me, I’d just keep it.

I list both auction and buy it now. I usually try auction first; then if it doesn’t sell, I put it in my store for a buy it now price. 🙂
