Can eBay items like xbox 360 controller and battery with charger?

December 28th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

I bought a Xbox 360 arcade and want one more controller. Also need 2 rechargeable batteries with one USB charger.
Need some tips and advice on buying these stuff.

Make sure the seller has 100% positive feedback. Check out the comments that other buyers and sellers have left for them and what they’ve left for others too. Some people don’t leave feedback even after you’ve left it for them. It’s happened to me several times. Also, go with a controller that says it’s in the package still and actually shows a real picture of the item for sale instead of one of the stock photos. Try looking for the controllers that come with a Play and Charge kit with them. The white ones like that are harder to find on there, but you’ll see some of the black and red ones. Ask any questions you may have and check out which auctions others are bidding on. Go with one with either free shipping or a reasonable amount. Controllers cost around $6 to ship; a bit more if they’re sending it Priority. I always set mine with free shipping and send them Priority. Make sure you have a Paypal account so you’re covered if anything bad happens.

Just make sure the person you are buying them from has a lot of positive feedback and doesn’t lack a decent amount of previously sold items/feedback.

Those things can go bad over time, and not saying everyone on ebay is looking to scam you, DEFINENTLY not true, but you always do have to watch your back online.

If you bought the arcade version though it seems you are just into basic gaming. Why not goto Target or Walmart, controllers without the rumble feature are only $25 or $30 as opposed to $50 with the feature. Also, the rechargable packs are about $20 offically licensed from Xbox at the store, but you can get non-name brand ones right at the store in a two pack for about $25. I’d suggest those before ordering online, OR at the very least, go to the mentioned stores in your travels and write down the names and prices of all the accessories you want. Search Ebay and Overstock (Overstock is realiable and all orders are only 2.95 for shipping.) for the things you want. Especially see on Ebay if people are offering the same brand things Walmart and Target are for a lower price… but take into account shipping.

    Good luck.
