    So much good advice …
So much good advice here Glen, thanks again! I’ve done thousands of dollars in computer and monitor sales off Craigslist and I didn’t know about Google Voice! Had been using my own cellphone number. I also use some of the other tips you give, especially always having 1 more person with me when I sell a larger item, and screening my customers from their phone calls. Craigslist is awesome, helped pay for my dorm costs in college.

Yep, cop was under the impression i had been harassing a minor. After that, it dawned on me that there are a lot of weird & dangerous people out there. If this guy was close enough, he could have paid a visit and it could have got ugly. At that point, i got a UPS mailbox, a google voice account, & i used a fake name transactions to avoid buyers/sellers googling my name & getting info on me. Its close enough that the postman/UPS store knows its me, but different enough to be unsearchable.

Buying is the wheel that makes the whole thing turn and it can be a trip, I spent 60% of my time on procurement. We don’t have ( well not the areas I frequently bought in) too many tweakers, we have mostly crackheads and alcoholics down here….as far as I know

I only had heat on me in the warehouse and when I was loading at 1AM in the morning. Most of my transaction were during the day. I even sold all of my guns, I try to avoid that stuff but I hear what you are saying some places if you are not strapped you are not being realistic.
