How can I sell easily on eBay as a new seller?
Most people don’t want to buy from a new seller because there is some risk involved. Are there any techniques I could use for selling until I get some good feedback?
Here’s what you do?
Search items which have free shipping.
Just bid $0.99 only. If you win good and if not no prob.
In other words, you would be paying only $0.99 for a feedback. Once you reach 50, then i think people will start buying from you. Once you hit 100 you can open an eBay store. But your sales will still be slow.
After 500 rating, you sales will start to increase. For now, since you don’t have a high rating, try selling cheap stuff which people wont go crazy if it breaks or gets damages.
Oh yea! you can try to sell textbooks. Now many people don’t care about the rating of the seller when it comes to buying textbooks.
GOOD LUCK!
Buy a lot of cheap stuff..also sell inexpensive stuff that people will take a chance on. If buyers see that your buyer rating is good..that will help.

Start by buying things and get at least 10 positive feedbacks and then start selling.

Hi,
I started selling on eBay having just 5 feedbacks as a buyer and still it didn’t bother me.
I started making on average one item sold daily for 25$ – to be precise, it’s an eBook.
From my experience – it’s more about how the listing’s presented, how it grabs the visitor’s attention etc. Of course, if we see a PowerSeller having 10000 feedback, our first defenses fall and we naturally tend to trust such sellers more.
But I don’t think you should buy loads of cheap crap just to get some feedback. If people serious enough to be interested to buy from you will check the feedback they’ll see it’s not sellers feedback anyway!
A very good recourse teaching eBay listing basics is ‘Fix My Auction’ 5 day free video course – you can grab it from the link below.
Regards,
Robby

Except in cases where negative feedback is in evidence, I think your basic assumption is incorrect. "Most" people aren’t really swayed by the experience of the seller, new or not, unless it’s a relatively high-priced item being sold. Then, feedback may come into play. For run-of-the-mill items, buyers are going to concentrate more on the pricing than the lack of feedback. Offer a quality product at competetive prices and fair shipping costs, and your sales and feedback will grow accordingly.
