I was also going to recommend magic erasers. You can get knock off ones at the dollar store. They will take off discoloration or stains on any smooth surface. Great for vinyl, plasitc, rubber. They are magic!

    Get rid of tape …
Get rid of tape with duct tape (lifehacker – australian website)

Haven’t tried it yet. I buy a lot of games and they always come with about 20 stickers on them. Great way to destroy a product.

Yes, nice vids. Some of them have been very informative, Be careful, you’ll run out soon enough. But yeah for me I’m just starting to dabble in selling some items on ebay, which is still a little daunting – so these suggested processes vids are handy.

    I use a product …
I use a product called Noxon Metal Polish. It’s an abrasive creme, usually used for cleaning and polishing metals.. however, I use it for removing hard to remove grease pencil price markings off products, especially book covers. Works great for removing almost anything that is refusing to come off by other methods.

    In speaking to a …
In speaking to a vendor who sells toys at an antique store, I found out about “Magic Erasers”, a Mr. Clean product. She used it to safely clean the plastic face of a doll for example.

They are a white sponge that is very lightly abrasive. You get it wet and scrub. It kind of disintegrates as you use it. I’ve found them to be useful for a few things.

I agree with you on the importance of cleaning a product before selling. I like your tips. I need to try the Goo Gone.

The velcro fastener looks nice. If you are interested in a free alternative, you could pull the bendable wire closer off of a bag of Starbucks coffee. Its white, fairly long, strong, and has a double wire.
