Thrift Hunter Garage Sale Finds Estate Thrift Make Money Sterling Gold Jewelry #29

February 28th, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

Just a quick video on what I found this weekend. Estate sales and garage sales have all been super slow, hoping things will pick up as the weather improves and people get over being sick. Been a lot of people and a small amount of sales people have been fairly aggressive and mean at estate sales – so not worth it, we are talking about grown adults. Just scraping by and listing things on eBay when I can.

    We have the same …
We have the same problem with flea markets here. The dealers are keeping the good stuff and pricing themselves out for resellers on the rest so you have to buy the stuff nobody knows or wants to deal with.

    I’ll probably try …
I’ll probably try the local flea market again. We only have one, its held on an air force base and its usually filled with all the leftovers from estate sales and tons of high priced jewelry. I’m pretty sure its a dealer only type thing and the last time I went I stayed for an hour an left. The garage sale season is coming just not yet. Maybe I’ll make a video so you can see what im talking about with the flea market here. Thanks for watching

    We’ve had near zero …
We’ve had near zero sales around here. I’m mostly getting stuff at flea markets right now and they are getting their stuff at local auctions, locker auctions or clean outs. Maybe you should hit a Flea market. Never know.

I put most of it on eBay, few pictures on the scale and a small bubble mailer, fairly simple. I have scrapped at a jeweler in town once or twice when I want cash. Thanks for watching.
