Is there a polite way to ask a buyer to leave feedback on Ebay?

I was just wondering what people do when buyers don’t leave feedback. Do you just shrug it off and figure not everyone will take the time? Do you have some polite way of reminding them to do it – or would that be considered rude?

I had my first sale not long ago, and was really excited about it. It hasn’t been that long (about a week), I suppose they could just be slow about the feedback, but I’m starting to have my doubts. Where it is getting frustrating is that they seem to have left feedback on their other purchases, and in reading feedback from other sellers there is no mention of this buyer not leaving feedback for them.

In the future should I wait to leave feedback as a seller until they leave me feedback as a buyer?

Nothing you can do I get customers that sometimes dont leave any feedback you can ask nicely but chances are you wont hear from them, just shrug it off and continue on.

eBay will leave a reminder for them, it is considered polite from their end to leave feedback, but it is considered impolite for the seller or buyer to demand feedback.
