August 2012 Ebay Sales of Items Bought at Garage/Estate Sales & Thrift Stores!

September 18th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

My Ebay sales for August 2012 of items I purchased at garage/estate sales and thrift stores. Summer as a whole has been very slow for both selling on Ebay and the number of garage sales in my town to go to. Overall, the garage sales in my area were just awful — nothing but overpriced junk! Three of the items in this video were packages that were stolen from my porch, so I had to refund those items. Plus the customer who bought the film lot complained that I hadn’t sent him the right items and I ended up giving in and giving him a $10 partial refund. Overall, August wasn’t a good month — let’s hope September is better!

    Hi there! A general …
Hi there! A general rule of thumb is that if you are listing 100 items consistently then a store is worth it. I’m not much of a math person, but other people have run the numbers and that seems to be it. I like having a store because I have a store URL to send to customers and I like being able to organize my store nicely. Yes, you can list how ever many items you want at any price you want for just 20-cents a listing.

Another nice vlog. Maybe you can be of some help to me. I’m considering opening an E-Bay store. I was pretty cool with the 50 free listings but this summer I’ve accumulated mucho inventory. I believe it’s a flat rate of $16 or so for the least expensive one and then it’s 20 cents a listing. How many listings do you generally have going (ballpark) and do you feel it’s worth it (you must as you have a store). Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance if you respond.
