    You are very …
You are very welcome, if you have any more questions just contact me at any platform, my eBay message will probably be quickest. I buy stuff on craigslist aswell, if you look at my most recent video you can see stuff I just recently picked up. My advice would be not to only start out selling video games, but try and sell anything and everything you can make a profit on to build up your reputation. Do you specialize in anything? It is good to try and become knowledgeable in a specific field

    Thanks. I …
Thanks. I appreciate all your help. I also plan on buying games locally through Craigslist and then selling them online to gain some profit.

    But in actuality …
But in actuality the best is a mix of both, here is what I do and it’s a great selling strategy. Since Amazon has no listing or upfront fees, I list all of my merchandise on Amazon at a high price and leave it there for a minimum 30 days, if it sells GREAT! if it doesn’t then I take it off of Amazon and take pictures and list or auction it at my eBay store. It’s a great strategy because you can potentially sell things at high prices with no risk upfront, trust me it works.

Well I use both and …
Well I use both and they work great, they are very different. Amazon is so much easier to manage and quick to list, but it has fierce competition and constant price cutting. I love eBay because you can really convey your brand and style, you can show customers more about your product and you. That is truly a great and hard question, if I had to pick one I would choose Amazon, because it gets 1,700,000,000 visits per month and eBay gets 780,000,000.

    I’ve always been a …
I’ve always been a happy consumer of Amazon, and I don’t auction at all, but I’m open to it. If you were limited to either Ebay or Amazon, which would you choose and why? I’m at a conflict on choosing one of them to start out.

    When you are …
When you are shipping media mail the size of the box doesn’t really effect the price much and also you can ship heavy weights for cheap, media mail has strict restrictions (it is made for only school books and some media). Make sure you follow them or users may leave negative feedback, because media mail is slow. Anyways if you have more questions just message me or email me at ctgg@att.net, I am more then happy to help you. Don’t get discouraged, start out slow and build a greater understanding

    Ok now shipping, …
Ok now shipping, shipping video games in a bubble mailer is fine. If you can add a cardboard backing, it can help keep it from cracking or getting crushed. First class is the absolute cheapest option for video games, and will typically cost $1.64-$3, simply add it into you price and offer free shipping or just charge the shipping cost + material cost(my bubble mailers cost 18 cents a piece). Now with school books ship them as media mail, media mail is the cheapest for of shipping.

I take it that item …
I take it that item was a auction? A typical rule of thumb if your new to eBay, only auction things you can actual afford to take a loss on, auctions have no guarantee and they are always a risk, even I only auction things I can afford to lose money on. The fees are high, but they are usually less than 20% which is what a typical auction house would charge. Also if you can get top rated seller you are eligible for a addition 20% discount. I will post a second comment addressing the shipping.

    The fees cost so …
The fees cost so much. Why is the fee $4.12 for a $15.84. It’s such a high percentage. I’m looking to sell a lot of my xbox 360 games, textbooks, and random things. I’m planning to start out with bubble mailer and used games. Was the first class shipping the only option you had? Was there an option more economical than that? If so, why did you choose first class? I understand shipping, but the fees are discouraging me in a sense.

    eBay and Amazon …
eBay and Amazon both offer shipping software, use it! eBays shipping software is 100% free and you will get commercial based prices, all you do it click print shipping label next to a sold item to access it. Same with Amazon, once a item sell you can hit print shipping label and go from there, Amazon charges a 7 cent fee per label. The most convenient part of this is the fact that it will automatically upload all your tracking information for you. Thank you!

    Good Video. I like …
Good Video. I like how organized you are. I want to know who do you use for shipping? What do you think of Pitney Bowes? I’m a beginner and I’m just getting started in the buying and selling on Ebay. Keep up the good work. Your videos are very informative.
