New Lennox Furnace and AC Install_Before & After. Replaced by Grant Heating And Air.
So we had some heat waves here and to our misfortune, after the first one our A/C went bad. We had it repaired twice in a 30 day period and were hoping to get by till tax time but it went out again. We decided to break down and bump up our time table to replace our 27 year old Furnace and Central A/C units so the search was on. We checked out several contractors and settled on Grant Heating And Air in Farmington, Mn to do the work, they did a great job so if your in that area and are looking, check them out. We got LENNOX and for the AC we got Model 14ACX-024-230 (14-16 seer) and the furnace is a Model SLP98UH070XV36B (98% eff), both are working great so far, the furnace was tested when the heat wave was done, we wanted to make sure before winter set in. We set our thermostat up 4 degrees from where we had it and it still works (cools) a lot better then the old one, but, it should. I’ve read (heard) good and bad about LENNOX and some other systems but we’re happy with our pick and like I said, the contractor did a great job. The install took 2 days and a 3rd day was needed to install a whole house humidifier for winter, that hooked into the furnace and ducting there. This video is just a brief bit of the process, not a step-by-step how to.
