How do you send a cancelation request on eBay?
I bought something on eBay, and I wanted to cancel it. And the seller told mento go to resolution center and send a cancelation request…. So how do you do that?
In your "My Ebay" section go to the "items won" part and at the end of the line which shows your item is an arrow with a drop down list. Chooes "resolve a problem". There will be an option which says something like "cancel sale bid in error". Choose that option (or whatever is nearest). Ebay will ask the seller to agree that the transaction is mutually cancelled. The seller may change their mind in which case you get an unpaid item strike against you. Next time do not bid unless you really do want the item.

The seller is as confused as you are.
Once you win, you are supposed to pay.
If the seller is letting you off the hook, they send you an unpaid item dispute–if friendly, they say mutually agree and you click on agree. if they are not friendly, they tell eBay you never paid and you get a no-pay strike (and restrictions on future bidding).
You as the buyer do not do anything.
