What should I do if AT&T declined my request to unlock my iPhone 4?

I bought a used iPhone 4 16GB from ebay. I was hoping that AT&T could unlock the phone for me, but they emailed me that this phone was not eligible to be unlocked. Do I still have any chance to get the phone unlocked? (The phone has already been updated to OS 5.1 and the latest firmware by the seller, so forget about Gevey or other unofficial methods)

if your in PA i have a few for sale and trade that are unlocked..email me

Take it to a local mom and pop type phone store. They’ll unlock it but it won’t be free.

And the sim is in the end (side) of the phone, use a paperclip and poke it in the hole and the sim tray will pop out.

You can do the tethered jailbreak and then use the instructions in the link below to unlock the phone. You will need a sim from your carrier.
