I have had no watchers, no bids and no selling in a week. Is this normal? I thought i am going to sell. Is it because I am new and people don’t trust you if you are not at least a Power Seller. What surprise me is, they didn’t even interest them and they say that on ebay they sell everything. can someone help me please.

If you relist and someone buys item your listing is free, your heading is the biggest eye catcher, so say you have a peach colored flowing blouse from eddy baure, tittle should be:
peach blouse LS boho peasant gypsy casual

always fill out the part below listing that asks size and color and stuff then you don’t have to waste space in tittle giveing this info. So if some one searches size small blouse they will get your listing even though the size isnt in your tittle you did fill in the info so it will show up. Surf the ebay for things people are putting in their titles, like LS means long sleeve, nwt is new with tags, also limit your discription and fill it to the end with words that label people or action, like I used gypsy instead of flowing sleeves, people will look up gypsy rather then flowing sleeves. Do not use alot of punctuation in your title for this wastes space. Alot of people are listing their stuff for free shipping but that one is beyond me, I don’t see how they are making a profit or even brakeing even.
Your listing in catigory is very important to. Say you have a candle holder for sale, ebay may kick out an automatic catigory list for placement of your item say in the home, decoration, candle area. Think out side of the box and decline their listing and maybe put it under wedding favores or outdoor decore. Palces where people are looking at and go wow I never thought of that and you will get the bid and you won’t have to compete with 50 thousand other candles. Be sure you don’t accidently click list in a second catigory, you just want to void out what ebay thinks and put in your own.
If you list for 7 days try to list your stuff at night because that is when people look the most and list it on a sunday or saterday night so listing will end on a friday or saterday night when tons of people are on ebay shopping and are looking at items ending soonest.
Just keep surfing the ebay and see what others are doing. It takes a bit to get the hang of it but people will by your items. Also be smart and list winter clothes in the winter and summer clothes in the summer. No one wants to think about, let alone buy, a sweater when it is 82 degrees outside. GL!!!!

There could be a few problems.

First off, do you have any feedback at all? Feedback builds trust. As a PowerSeller, I recommend to most new eBay users to build up their positive feedback to at least 10 before they try to start selling. You can do this by purchasing 10 cheap items for $.99 (that’s for both the product and the shipping combined).

My next question is, do you have a picture of the items? If you don’t have a picture of the items, especially if it’s clothing that you’re trying to sell, then you probably won’t have much luck. Psychologically, people like to see what they’re buying before they will be willing to hand over any money. One of the biggest reasons that auctions fail on eBay is because they don’t have a picture.

Next, make sure that you have a good title. Ebay allows you 55 characters to list your items title. Make good use of all of them. Fit as many details about the item as you can on the title line.

What’s your starting price? Are you doing bid style or fixed price? If you’re doing fixed price then you need to check out your competition and see what similar items are selling for. It’s also important to make sure that your shipping and handling is reasonable.

Are you offering a return policy. It’s a lot easier to get customers to buy from a new seller if you offer a return policy.

What does your item description look like? Did you offer as many details about your item as possible. If you’re trying to sell clothing, these details should also include the fiber content of the clothing as well as measurements.

    Hope this helps.
